Hi. I have updated my Xperia Z2 to latest firmware and now my SD card is not recognized by phone. The card works ok with laptop. I have backed up the data, formatted the card and tried again: no luck.

Can you please try my suggestion here and see if that helps?
Please note that it will delete all data on your SD card so first make a backup of any data you want to save from it.
You should read this thread:
Thank you for the link. But the card does not mount: nor with 'sdcard1' nor with '<SD serial>' serial. It is also absent in 'storage' folder.
I've also checked the $EXTERNAL_STORAGE variable with adb and got '/sdcard' which is the phone's storage
Hi @MichaelSL1,
What kind of SD card are you trying to use with your phone (brand/size)?
Would it be possible for you to try using another SD card with your phone to check if it won't detect any SD card at all?
HI @Christofer!
My SD was Silicon Power 16GB class 10.
I have tried 4 GB class 4 unbranded card (from Huawei phone) and it is working.
Maybe I have to reformat my card? I have already tried FAT32 and exFAT with default sector size.
I have also tried 64 GB UHC-1 Kingston: phone says that card is corrupt (maybe because of NTFS file system)
Some more tests
Xperia Z3+ also doesn't recognize this card. But Windows Phone Huawei W1 formats it and works great. My Z2 doesn't see it even after Huawei's format (the card that I've taken from this phone works ok on Z2)
Could you try removing the partition of the SD card using partition manager software such as MiniTool Partition Wizard or similar and then try to use it with your phone again?
