I've had my Z2 for about 3 weeks, and now this is happening. When I first got the phone it was obviously fine, a few days later I updated the firmware with PC Companion. And it was good for about another week. But since today the phone keeps restarting over and over, I can't even get the time to power it down.
Why is this happening?
Can anyone tell me how to get it fixed? It just sits there restarting over and over. I can't get it to power down.
I managed to power the phone down holding power + volume up.
When I try to power on the phone into recovery mode, it will say "Safe Mode" then it goes back into restarting over and over.
The Z2 seems like a piece of **bleep** I will return it and go Samsung.
Remove your SIM and see if the same occurs.
I tried everything. Nothing works.
The minute I power the phone on, it will show my homescreen for about 2 seconds then it goes blank and reboots itself. Over and over.
Nothing I can do wants this phone to boot up. The phone was fine 24 hours ago, I did not drop it nor did I had water on it. The phone is stock standard.

PC Companioncan never connect to the phone since it keeps restarting over and over, thus it keeps getting interupted.
Please ensure the phone is turned off and not connected when you start this process. If performed correctly and connected in flash mode at the last step in the list the phone will not power on at all.

I sent the phone back to the network operator, after a week, they now sent the phone to what they call "advanced repair" since they can't fix it.
Just great.
