Bug with DATA connection notification not fixed.

Hello! in the new firmware xperia xa ultra (111) not fixed a bug in the application incallui.apk . constantly appears notification on / off data. Even when you switch the flight mode , 4g or just the device is lost or find network.

After 4 months you still not have any information?? What kind of Sony Support are you?

Is any way that I contact someone from Sony directly? Because for the answer, if Sony doing something on this problem, you need only day or two. I think that behind this is just ignorance from Sony.

If you have any contact, please write to me. If not, I will write on any possible mobile forums about Sony Support.

In 4 months they are not able to resolve the problem or give us any info about.

before you buy Sony Xperia phone, I suggest you to read forums about software bugs on EVERY phone, because the bugs on Sony phone will be there forever. Sony doesn't give us any information or any support.

I am facing the same bug. This is a huge pain and a lot of data is being eaten up, even with mobile data being turned off. I don't know what to do except stop adding credit to my SIM! Please fix the bug as soon as possible. I can't even exchange the phone because I bought this phone from another country.

The annoying notification on my XA ULTRA, appears after exit from STBY, and happens if:

a. Suggested Network type is set to auto select 3G(suggested)/2G or 4G(suggested)/3G/2G and during STBY the coverage of the network type changes because of bad reception or changes to a better type of reception. For example if the moment of pressing or entering STBY the network in that area was a 3G and because of bad 3G reception at another area the network automatically changed to 2G, then the annoying notification appears if you exit STBY. Same thing happens if from an area of 2G reception you enter an area of 3G reception.

b. Suggested Network type is set to 2G or 3G only, but for some reason there is a complete loss of signal at an area. When signal comes back you get this error.

You can check this message by changing network type or setting to Airplane mode. It always appears.

The only solution for me is to leave mobile data always enabled, but to enable or disable Internet Services by contacting Provider or sending SMS for enable or disable.

The normal thing, in my opinion, is TO HAVE A NOTIFICATION WHEN MOBILE DATA IS ENABLED because ONLY THEN THE BILLS BECOME HUGE.

I had exactly the same issue.

Mobile Data was DISABLED, the notification on phone was "Mobile Data Disabled" and got a message from mobile provider that I was charged because of mobile data connection. I contacted provider and they said that my phone connected to Internet. I could not use Internet but my device WAS CONNECTED to Internet and I was charged of connection.

This is a problematic phone and I am going to send this back. My brother's XIAOMI NOTE 3 PRO does not give this notification of "mobile data disabled" when he disables mobile data and does not charge him when mobile data is DISABLED.

Sony must fix because it is a MUST.

I write down the log for this problem from ANDROID STUDIO:

If not solved next firmware(possibly Nougat) the device goes back for a refund........

Hi, I am Elfha from the Philippines. I just want to know if other users are experiencing the annoying "mobile data has been disabled" notification. It is always popping up, even if I do not use my mobile data. I dont know what to do with it. Also, when I put an SD card, i always get "sd card ejected", "sd card corrupted" or "unmount sd card". Is there a way that Ican stop it to happen? My phone is an xperia xa ultra. Just bought it a month ago, and it was okay to me to see it pop up for a month. but then as i always see it, im getting annoyed. Lol can someone help me? thanks
