Hi,
I have Xperia Z , All of Sudden my Phone Stopped Respoding and Need to Reboot the Phone and after rebooted still the same. I have tried inserting another SIM , But this time the Phone reboot automatically after i insert SIM. and my Device Locks ny Mcafee. Device works fine Without the SIM Card. I dont have the SONY service center here.
Error: red "X" on the SIM and same for the signal.
Checked there is no issues with the SIM.
I was using the Phone for past one month with no issues. Does factory reset would resolve the problem?
Any help on this Regards
I am having the same problem...
My phone was working perfectly fine in the morning. An hr later I realised my screen was displaying an icon of a red X across sim card. No physical damage to phone prior to this. It just stopped working. Tried a brand new sim card -> same result.
I love this phone and Im so hoping there is an easy software repair! Has anyone had this problem and managed to resolve this issue?
Oh right now. I have this same problem with sim card but when i install sim card to my phone it normally restarts and then it asks pin code like it should be and when i put it there and there is reading 'unlocking sim' and it reads there like forever and at somepoint it just stops unlocking it and here we are, no connection. because my backglass is broken so it wont go to warranty (asked allready) and phone works absolutely fine except of course that sim problem, and sim card works normally in other phones.... really i dont have any idea what in the world it can be 😕 Sooo if someone knows something, please, give me some advise! Thank you.
I'm having the same problem after putting a new sim card in for the first time....this phone **bleep**...did you have any luck fixing the issue??
Same issue. Suddenly stopped working the signal of the 3g, calls and sms... I tried with a downgrade, upgrade and finally now I have 3g, but still can not call or send/receive sms. I tried changing SIM card, company, but nothing works. 😕
hi,
i have an xperia z.
go to
Settings>More...>Mobile Networks>Network mode> (select your sim type) (DO NOT select WCDMA(preferred)/GSM , coz this preferres WCDMA over GSM and this causes networks issues)
anyone got a solution for this problem i'm just fed -up
Im having the same issue as well. Ive had my phone for about a year and a half (Z Ultra) andeverything was fine up to about a month ago. Now i have to reboot my phone every few minuites or i will be disconnected from the network. Sometimes after a reboot it will stay on for hours but usually its disconnected by the next time i look at it.
This is super frustrating and i see no resolution posted. If no one is able to help me i can gaurantee i will be changing phones and never looking back at another sony product again.
Hi all. I own a Xperia M4 Aqua and still have the same identical problem. I've had this phone for ...what...a couple of weeks?! and and I've had trouble with sim card detection ever since. When I first inserted the sim card I noticed that it doesn't really click -if you know what I mean- and the only way of solving this is shutting the slot hoping the sim will work fine. As a matter of fact whenever I push the closed slot the phone restarts. I am afraid it's a vile mechanical problem...and if so I'll go back to some other brand I like more. Can anyone confirm my guess?
