xperia z no sound ( speaker ) when playing media and general mode but have sound when diagnose

so i have this problem where my phone doesnt produce any sound when playing music, and when being called. I've already put it at its max volume but still no sound. I can only hear sound when im using my headphones and also when i diagnose the speaker i sound normaly .... pls help

Same here.

External speaker stopped working.

Nothing solves it.

Not safe mode, not diagnostic (although it can produce sound in the test), nothing.

This is after I thought the last update to 4.4.4 solved all the milion bugs with the sound and the internal/external/ speaker - headset.

I'm really disappointed.

If Sony can't fix a few software bugs which are related to the sound, I don't think I will buy Sony ever again!

Well...after restarting several times the device...I went to YouTube...during one song I had been plugging in and out the earphones for about ten times. The problem was fixed 😜 it's seems funny and weird 😜😂

Me too . Can't play music, videos or youtube. No sounds on alarms and games either. Everything has no sound.
