Xperia z home screen loading

I have put my xperia Z on upgrade but the home screen keeps loading and nothing is happened. The fames screen is running all the day.  I have looked your forum and find out we need to upgrade through the pc from the link

 I have tried it. But the phone is not detecting in the upgrade software. plz provide me the detail steps for connecting the usb and we need to press the power button with volume down key. I tried this but it not getting me to the next step "confirm".

please update me..

When you get to this step:

1. Make sure the phone is completely off.

2. Ensure you are holding the volume button down before, during and after you have connected

3. Don’t take your finger off the button until the drivers are installed and the computer is showing you the next step.

4. You will know if you have connected correctly as the phone will remain off and give you a solid green notification light.

5. If the phone turns on or gives you a red light wait a moment then disconnect and try again.
