Unfortunately system ui has stopped after Android 6.0.1 update

After updated to Marshmallow 6.0.1 the error message pop up "unfortunately system ui has stopped"! The only way that I know to solve this problem is removed the sd card. 
How to solve the problem?

HI , 

I have been having this issue for almost a month now , this error has decided to show up again now and i'm travelling tommorow and desperately need my phone 

I have tried the safe mode and the fone seems to be working fine. My question is , hw can i identify the 3rd party app that is responsible for this crash so i can uninstall it ? 

presuming that it's a 3rd party app that is causing this ordeal

This solution worked for me.

The Whats new software would definitely seem to be the cause of UI stopping working.

I followed the above advice , frirst removing all the updates then disableing the apWhats new app and on reboot all worked OK. I just hope it stays that way!!
