When using the phone it randomly says that "Unfortuanately Sony Music has stopped". It then shows a list of apps which states "Open using". This has happened several times now. Any remedy to this problem?

As this is a system application I would advise running a software repair to reload the system:
1. Download the PC Companion software from http://www.sonymobile.com/gb/tools/pc-companion/
and install it on your PC.
2. Install and open PC Companion then select Support Zone.
3. Phone Software Update.
4. Start.
5. Repair Phone
6. Continue
7. Accept data removal
8. Next
9. Wait for prepare
10. Select Phone
11. Follow the connection steps

even i am facing the same problem.
in the reply provided as a solution, step 7 says:
7. Accept data removal
does it mean complete data of the phone will be formated? contacts, apps, photos, msges and all?
Internal data will be removed(contacts, messages, settings etc).SD card will not be erased.
i am not using any sd card in my phone till now, so whatever is there in internal memory only. that means every thing will be lost thats not bearable
If you do not want to lose internal data, you just have to wait for a bugfix or take your phone into service.
if the confirm it as a bug and plan it to fix it in upcoming releases, then i can wait as its not harming me much.
going to service center is of no use i think, first thing they always say is to erase data only
Ok,then you have to wait, who knows how much.:smileytongue:
