Landscape mode on Xperia Z w/o launcher?

with that said, is it a photoshop error or a feature that will be implemented with later updates, landscape mode/rotation w/o the dock?

Most likely that picture has been created in Photoshop or similar. We have forwarded the suggestion to add landscape mode without docking though but i don't know when/if this will be added.

actually. it's not photoshop. The Xperia Home does have a landscape mode, but it is enabled only when u're docked. However, there're apps in the play store that would force your homescreen to autorotate, or fixed it at landscape mode. i know,  cuz i've tried them. 😃

As I'm sure I'm not the only ZL owner who would like this feature for his dock-less Xperia smartphone.

You have to run "Car Mode"  app in your Xperia Z then press home button

Thats it you can enjoy landscape mode

I'd love this functionality, I use a dock with my Z all the time. As soon as the screen locks it flips back to portrait. Is there anything that can be done to show the walkman widget and number keypad in landscape when docked as opposed to portrait?
