Apps crashing and all sorts of problems

Hope someone can help me sort this out. Facebook, Google and other apps crashing and phone getting hot very quickly and battery running down much faster than usual (15% in half an hour and no apps used just one brief phone call).

It started yesterday (22/6/2017) my phone just started acting strange. Several apps wouldn't open or crashed moments after opening, this happened with games, Facebook and diagnostics. Then the phone came out of stand by on its own and then restarted several times. I switched the phone off and turned it back on and it seemed okay for about 15 mins. Then crashed again while I tried to use Google. I have checked diagnostic and there are 9 system incidents (from yesterday and today) and 49 applications not responding in the last 10 days. The Lollipop system UI has stopped responding 8 times. I have checked and my system seems up to date (Android version 5.1.1 and software version 14.6.A.1.236). I haven't installed any new apps recently. What is the problem and what do I do to sort this out? Thanks for any advice.

my suggestion log off whenever you quit facebook. you won't get crash.
or clear facebook data from device setting.

Uninstalling Facebook has fixed the problem. Previously tried factory reset several times, taking out sd card, sim card, and problem kept repeating.

Same here. The app wouldn't start. I deleted the cache and user data and voila.

After no more than two day, I had to do it again. And again. And... goodbye facebook.

New sim card, had it swapped out at phone dealer, it's still doing it... if it's plugged in and charging it won't generally do it, but if it's not plugged in, it just keeps turning off and on again.

I have the same problem. Short term solution: Settings->Apps->FAcebook-> delete cache

that enables facebook to start again (as after some time facebook just doesnt start at all) . About the main problem on the device, I cannot find anything else than facebook uninstalling (maybe try facebook lite? But it still needs cache delete after some time too- it stops loading after a while) . I have heard that there are different third party apps for FB, anyone can suggest something? They 2 companies that have messed up the phone update and one of the top used apps, for our Z1c phones, should already have a solution for this... It has been a  month already...

It's been happening to me too.

I've sent an email to android-support@fb.com and I suggest we all do the same so they addres the issue.

I have had similar crashing issues with my Z1 iphone. First time his happened I re-installed the iphone firmware and I unfortunately also had to re-install all my original phone apps, which I had no backup for. Things went OK for a month or so and then the iphone would start to continue to crash again. Restarting the phone gave momentary recoveries to allow setting up the iphone settings to "Ultra Stamina" mode. This at least temporarily gave me my mobile phone back for use. Disabling this feature back to normal mode of operation would immediately cause cashing again. It always pays to remember the last things that you did with your iphone before these crashing issues happen. In my case, I had logged in to FACEBOOK for the first time since re-loading the phone's firmware a month or so ago. My Z1 iphone crashing issues seem to have completely gone away after I removed Facebook and Facebook Messenger. I don't understand the theory as to why this happens. Maybe these Facebook apps do too much number crunching to cause these issues and the Z1 iphones are now getting old and cannot handle this any more as these apps continue to increase in size. For me, I now assume Facebook and Facebook Messenger are not compatble with my Z1 iphone anymore, and I no longer use them. Hope this may be of help to others out there.

I don't have any problems with de Facebook Messenger App.

But I can't even install the Facebook app (even before login everything starts to go bad).

I've used the Facebook app in slower phones in the last month and it went well. It's not a phone resources problem.
