Seriously my Xperia Z2 has 16GB of storage I have minimum apps that I relly need installed and I regularly run out of storage, the main reason why I upgraded to android 6.0.1 is that I wanted to use my SD card as internal memory, the system itself takes 4.4GB, and the actual available storage is 14.9 GB
There were three reasons why I have chosen this particular phone over the other leading brands.
1. Waterproofness and the fact that I can use SD card. Beware it is waterproof only for the freshwater, not salty water, forget about the explanations that it could damage the seals etc, the fact is that the salty water had got a different viscosity and conductivity, for that reason the screen may die when you submerge it in the sea.
2. Ultra HD videos recording, unfortunatelly the CPU get so hot that it stops recording, not mentioning the storage issues
3. Memory card slot - android apps are not design to run from the SD card so I would suggest to put the huge red label on each of the phones saying "warning Android 6.0.1 without support of the SD internal storage" - If I would know this earlier I would heve never buy this phone.
Finally there is a bunch of people complaining on the problems with the microphone - this problem comes and goes and there is no solution, the only settings you can modify is the "sound & notification-> accessory setting->Mic sensitivity" and "calls settings->microphone noise suppression" - there is no more annoying thing than people dropping the call because they cannot understand me. Surprisingle the quieter is your surronding the more distorred the sound gets - people say "you must be in a very loud place" or "the sound is wobbly - you sound like talking under the water". Funnily playing with these two options can temporarily fix the problem but eventually it comes back.
In summary
There are pros and cons but lack of this one feature pushed me away from your future smartphones customers list
Please consider giving people a choice of how their device is going to perform with or without SD card installed as internal storage - I am a practical nerd and I choose practicality - the battery life and available storage over the performance and sleek design.
You go to all apps click on one then go to storage and if it says change then you can change it to SD card that's it very easy
I have a samsung and that didnt help me
Search for videos online - there are plenty of tutorials for your mobile phone brand
Well this is upsetting, I purchased a fast sd with C10, U3, V30, 4K, and A2 performance.
Surely I should at least have the option.
Or at the very least be able to transfer more than just photo, video, and music which take up very little space for me. this thing only comes with 32GB internal storage and much of that is taken up by android and other uninstallable software features. If this continues I may have to look at other phone options in the future.
