I'm aware of a couple of threads detailing similar issues but nobody seems to have definitively resolved this issue despite the complaints going back over 5 years!
I just got a brand new pair of WH-1000XM4 headphones today and they work great with my phone and also my MacBook.
However when I connect them to my Windows 11 device, no matter how I do it, they just appear as headphones. No microphone. I can't see it set up anywhere and have tried toggling all of the options on the headphones as previously suggested and rebooting everything over and over.
Why doesn't it work? Windows just doesn't even see a microphone is attached. The Mac did it first time with no issues. I've tried everything but it feels like I may as well just bin them off after one day as one of my primary reasons for purchase is to use with Microsoft Teams on my works laptop.
Please help!
