INTENTO ACTUALIZAR LA BIOS Y ME DICE QUE NO ES COMPATIBLE CON MI VPCEB3C5E CUANDO LLEVO CASI 3 AÑOS USANDOLO , EN EL SOPORTE DE WINDOWS ME HAN DICHO QUE MI LAPTOP ESTA BIEN Y QUE ES SONY EL RESPONSABLE DE DAR SOPORTE A WINDOWS PARA QUE FUNCIONE .

I TRY TO UPDATE THE BIOS AND IT TELLS ME THAT IT IS NOT COMPATIBLE WITH MY VPCEB3C5E WHEN I HAVE BEEN USING IT FOR ALMOST 3 YEARS, IN THE WINDOWS SUPPORT THEY HAVE TOLD ME THAT MY LAPTOP IS OK AND THAT IT IS SONY RESPONSIBLE FOR SUPPORTING WINDOWS TO MAKE IT WORK.

Thanks for answering, Joe_Dohn. I knew that the drivers were there on that page, but there is no update for the R1140T8 BIOS, which is the one I have. There is a program on the Sony website to update the BIOS and it tells me that there is a new one, which is R0300Y8. But when trying to update it doesn't let me. If you could help me, I would really appreciate it. a cordial greeting

According to the downloads page, there are no BIOS updates available for this model, can you tell us what program you're referring to?

Thanks for answering, I was afraid that there would be no update for my model. and now what can I do if windows 7 stops working? throw away my pc ???
and the program I was referring to is: VAIO BIOS Update Tool 1.2.0.04300 .i was dowloading from this link:https://www.sony-latin.com/es/electronics/support/downloads/W0010968#about.

The issue might be that the tool is from the Sony-Latin website and not the Sony UK one.

I just checked the Spain website for drivers since the first link I shared was the UK one, still couldn't find a BIOS update or driver unfortunately.
