KDL-42W705B - Can't Access WI-FI Direct?

I have a KDL-42W705B and would like to use the Wi-Fi Direct feature to stream video from my Windows laptop to the TV (is this what WIFI Direct can do?).

However, the WiFi Direct icon is greyed out on the drop down menu on the TV.

I've followed these instructions but can't seem to make it active.

Is there anything else I can do or another way to sream video from a laptop to the TV without wires?
