Xperia X10 mini picture size

Hi, I am having Xperia X10 mini phone. Though its having a 5MP cam the picture's size when uploaded to my lap is very very small (640*480) it s supposed to be 2592*1944 acc to the specifications

Why is this so..Is it the actual size itself or should I change any settings..

Or is there any app that can make this fine..

Could anybody help me with this..

are you transfering the actual picture or the thumbmail?

install IO file manager from the market

open it -> DCIM folder -> 100Andro

you can see the name and the size of the picture
