Xperia and Quickdial

I recently purchased Xperia Pro, coming from a good'ol Touch Pro 2.

The overall experience with my new device is absolutely great, but, something very simple and convenient is really missing : QuickDial !

I know there's some dialer replacements on the market, but this simple feature is a must have for a labelised "Pro" device destinated to handle many contacts' informations.

Do other users feel the dialer limitated ? Is there any plan @ SE side to properly implement this feature in a future release ?

Hi, not sure if this is what you are looking for.

You can actually create shortcut on your home screen for this purpose.

From home screen, long press and select Shortcuts>Direct dial, choose from contact list.

I meant a quick dial integrated in the dialer's phone pad. So you just use T9 entry to parse contacts quickly.
