Pocket God on Xperia X8 problem.

Pocket God on Xperia X8 problem.

It's been weeks since I found out about Pocket God for Android, and I really want it! But, it won't install on my Xperia X8, Android 2.1.

I have 2 methods of download, both with problems.

1. Applanet.

It always end up with a parsing package error for Pocket God.

2. Download the apk online.

Once I put the apk in my SD card, I use Application Installer, but the message comes out,

"Out of space" "PocketGod could not be viewed. Free up some space and try again."

I have 63 MB phone memory free and Pocket God is something like 18 MB.

Does anyone have an alternate method? Can anyone help solve my problem? I've really wanted this for a long time already.

Thanks.

Could be a requirement for certain amount of memory for system use? Uninstall apps that you 'hardly' use and try again.

Hi Kalybe, can you access Android Market from your phone?

Yes. I can. Slightly_smiling_Face

Do you mean that you have installed it? If that is the case, enjoy .... Smiling_Face_with_open_mouth_&_closed_Eyes

Sadly, no. Slightly_frowning_Face I still haven't installed it. When I try to install, it always says I don't have enough space. But I have around 50MB of phone memory and the app is like 20MB.

Thanks for that.

Can I ask another question? I was going through YouTube for a review of this app, and it seems other users are having a problem too.

Some of them said that you may need a "rooted space". Just what is that? Is it the same with a second partition in your SD card?

Just had a look at Pocket God app Information, the requirement of rooting of phone is not stated there. Sorry, I don't have an answer for you.

Rooting means giving yourself the access to 'mess around' with the system files in your phone memory (nothing to do with your SD Card memory)

For your info, rooting can void your warranty.

Moderator gwhispererz! It finally worked! Your last tip of uninstalling the apps I hardly use worked! I took the risk of uninstalling a 14MB file.

I tried installing Pocket God again and it actually worked! Thank you very much! You my friend, are awesome!

THANK YOU VERY MUCH! Slightly_smiling_Face
