Bravia Theater Bar 8 turns on itself.

I have recently bought a Bravia Theater Bar 8 soundbar (HT-A8000) and its connected to my KD-43X75WL TV and its great but i have an issue that sometimes the soundbar turns itself back on after about 10 minutes of been turned off.

Both devices are on the latest update, does anyone have any ideas of anything i can try or does this sound like a software issue and i need a fix via an update? Thanks in advance for any input.!!

What happens is that the TV performs a restart after a cumulative 26 hours in standby. This causes any connected Bravia Sync (HDMI-CEC) devices to wake up as well.

It is very frustrating behaviour. Disabling Bravia Sync probably fixes it but obviously that is not ideal.

OK, so i have disabled Bravia Sync and yes the Soundbar does not turn on itself now and yes you are correct, its not ideal. I bought the sony soundbar thinking i would have no compatibility issues between the TV and Soundbar.

Surely Sony should be able to fix this issue with a software update. Should i contact Sony customer support or do Sony employees read these messages?. Thanks..
