I am a director of photography with over 25 years of experience in the television industry. I use your filming products with great pleasure and appreciate all the improvements you make every time you release a new product. However, I do not understand why there are no improvements related to the functioning of a product like the DSC-RX100M7 camera, series 2929679. I use it quite often both on vacation and for certain shoots.
There are two issues I would like to mention that need to be addressed:
The ability to separately select the PP function for photo and video mode (so I don’t have to constantly switch; for instance, if I want PP-off in photo mode and PP8 in video mode).
When the pop-up flash is activated, the exposure mode does not function correctly, especially in manual mode, which I prefer to use (the camera behaves as though everything becomes automatic).
As a professional, I can quickly work around these shortcomings, but I am sure that an adjustment through a new firmware update would be much more appropriate.
