Wake via HDMI not working since update
Since the most recent update my TV no longer wakes up when I wake my Nvidia shield. It has worked fine previously for the past 18 months but updated this morning and it now fails to wake 100% of the time.

Hi Garethrobson,
Do you have any other HDMI devices connected to your TV that has the same issue? Is there a chance to test if the same issue would happen with another HDMI device ?

I'm not sure if this was ever capable of waking the TV. The soundbar sleeps
when the TV sleeps but not the other way round.
I don't have any other devices that are capable that I could test it with I
don't think

I think I have some development on this.
It turns out if the TV has been off for a while (exact timing tbc) then it DOES wake with my Nvidia shield. It just doesn't wake for X amount of time after sleeping the device.
This is new behaviour since the most recent update and I used to be able to wake the device immediately after sleeping it.

Hi Garethrobson,
Could you keep monitoring the situation and let us know if it's indeed related to a specific time frame? If so, I can pass on your case to Sony support to contact you to take this further for investigation.

It appears to not work within the first minute for sure. It does work if I
leave the TV for around 5 minutes.
So somewhere in between those 2 timings

Hi Garethrobson,
From what your saying I gather that it works fine if the TV has been off for 5 minutes or more then the Nvidia shield will turn on the TV but it wont come up if less than 5 min, right?
If so, it's a little odd to be honest but it could be normal. Did it used to respond or switch the TV on faster than this before?

Yes that's correct.not sure of the exact time it starts working but its
definitely longer than 1 minute but less than approx 5 mins.
It's always been capable of waking instantly for the past 18 months at
least.its only stopped working after the most recent update.

Hi Garethrobson,
last thing before I pass this on to Sony to investigate: can you try to disable BRAVIA Sync on the TV altogether then enable it again and test it?
