Can the xh90 do 4k @ 120hz fully
- The xh90 (uk) has been advertised as being able to display 4k @ 120hz for
fast clear motion. Unfortunately so far although the motion is smooth ,
clear it is not. I have read many sources from renowned experts regarding
the so called 4k @ 120hz burr. I have myslef played destiny 2 and some of
the horizontal lines character bars etc flicker and shimmer and have what
is know as the rope effect. In tests it seems like the sony xh90 can not do
native 4k @ 120hz, the results conclude as of now it can not
do per pixel resolution on the vertical lines. Is this a hardware issue ?
Or software and is this TV able to fully do 4k at 120hz ?

Sony have released an update just yesterday, I wonder if it helps in any way. Have you tried it?
Also, could you explain what this means: "it can not do per pixel resolution on the vertical lines" ?

Sony has tried to address this issue but it as of now still is unable to do
full 4k when 120hz mode is enabled? Is this TV able to achieve full 4k
120hz with out blur? Or not? At 60 hz any resolution seems not to be
effected? I would honestly like to know if tye mediatek chip in the xh90
has enough power to process full 4k 120hz or not?

I still haven't heard back. This is definitely a topic that's under investigation by Sony due to how much people are talking about it here. Which is good in my opinion.
Sooner or later we'll get an answer on what to expect of these TVs. My money is on Sony though judging from past experience.

I appreciate you're reply, can I ask do you work for sony ? Also if it is officially proven that this TV is unable to fully do 4k@120hz natively of which it has been advertised, would not that be mis sold or falsely advertised? Under the consumer right act 2015(uk) would a full refund be issued even if past the one month returns dates?
