Bravia Won't Turn On Unless Unplugged/Replugge
hi,
recently my KD -43xf8796 has intrtmittingly stopped turning on using the green power button on the remote. Have to unplg at power wall socket to turn TV on. Firmware version is PKG6.6545
Can anyone suggest how to fix this?

The issue occurred again this morning. there was no response from the tv even pressing the power button on the right hand side. had to unplug from ac power.

For me this problem was caused by the RF usb receiver for my RF mouse. Solved by replacing with a bluetooth mouse.

I have a usb receiver for a mini keyboard connected. I will disconnect it to see if this fixes.

Unfortunately the third morning of trying to turn tv on there was no response. Had to unplug from ac power once again. any further suggestions appreciated.

Unplug any SD-cards, flash drives or HHD and try.
