65XF9005 Video App Freezes on High Bit Rate 4k
I recently updated the tv to firmware 65.10 and apart from the hdr in the menus while playing movies(grayed subs) i noticed that when i play a 4k high bit rate movie from usb 3.0 external disk in usb 3.0 port the movie freezes after playing normal for about 30-40 minutes an the only way to fix it is to restart the tv..this wasnt happening before the update
anyone else having this issue ?
what is sony thinking without even testing the new firmware ?
i am a bit dissapointed .also from the fact that it has only 2gb RAM but thats another story ...
any ideas ?

With a bistream of ..... mbps ? Via usb or DLNA?
I'm asking just because on my own KD55A1 the streaming on Video is the same as it was on Nougat (the interface is different and slower but it doesn't seems to bother you)

there is TrueHD audio in the file, it doesn't have to be played, it's just
when it's in the file. I can confirm this is the case, I've been
re-transcoding my films to remove the TrueHD track and then the video would
play fine.
If the file has TrueHD the video app will play it perfectly for about 30-40
minutes and then freeze the whole video app, so then you need to reboot the
TV - just force closing the app doesn't fix it.

For now, unfortunately:
1. Stop play every 30 min, and start again (but maybe forgot do this)
2. mkvtoolnix, exclude only TrueHD stream, start multiplexing = ~20 min (40-60Gb) because operation without convert any stream content.
I make "temp" file, only before watching. Yes, I know it's awkward.
3. Using third-party player. Yes, for me it's weird. I like use VideoApp.
