folderview on a kdl-50w805

hello!

my dads biggest hobby is photography and now he finally also ot himself a smarttv (kdl-50w805). i set up the network, shared all his 10k+ pics and some movies and also can see them and playback only the tv.. all 10k plus photos at once... is there no folderbased view?!? it took me months to teach him a propper way to organizte his pics and now they are all totally unorganized? am i missing something? we deffinetly wont upload to the sonycloud to create albums there, wheater he or me like the idea of giving sony all his photos.... right now my hotfix to this is to copy the one folder he wants to have a look at (last holiday eg) to an usb drive and replace the folder once he wants to see another one... quite a pain in the ass...

Hi did4h2k,

Welcome to the Sony community.

You need to press the "options" button on your remote.

Then move up and select "folder view" - that should solve your problem.

Anyway, this will work on W805B only - if you have the previous model with the round stand this option will not be available unfortunately.
