Tele lens not working

In my Xperia 5 I am unable to use the tele lens.

The normal lens works fine, camera switches fine to wide (w), but pressing (2) just zooms the normal lens.

Any ideas how do I fix this?

I had the same issue as well but the customer support pointed out that the Tele lens is activated only when the light conditions are good.
