I've been enjoying my Xperia 5 for a while now, but noticed that overnight the standby drain of Android System is quite high.

Anyone have any idea why that is?

Hello there , I am a Xperia 5 user as well.

I am not sure what's the problem is , and I do not have this problem (I didn't use auto syn fuction as well).

Maybe your phone is refreshing content for your apps while standby , causing the amount of battery drain.

I suppose it could be, but on my XZ1 and XZ2 compact I never had this issue (auto sync on as well) and I'm using the same apps.

I did have android system restricted for background usage, that might be the culprit I think.

Will turn the restriction off and check if that solves it.
