Always been one of the downsides of not buying an iPhone or a Samsung has been the scarcity of case options - as opposed to the aforementioned where you fall over cases in every shop you walk into.
So what have you guys found and what are you going with?
I use a clear rubber/plastic case from amazon. Let's the purpleness out 😁
Have always used the same sort for protecting my phones.
I've ordered the Sony style touch case,I do the same with every XPERIA, just **bleep** they only release them after the handset forcing everyone to spend some time without one knowing there are people who will end up damaging their brand new £850 the first week.

Is it any good? I'm tempted to get this, but someone else on here has had trouble using a Sony Style touch case with an older phone
I don't have it for Xperia 1 yet,but my XZ2 one always worked perfectly, they crazy expensive though for a case
Bought the Sony touch style case very expensive but great case

This is me also,
Need to let the colour free..
FYI, I've gone for a cheapy transparent back cover for now and have this one:
on order. I wanted a book-style case, but one which was (a) thin and (b) no magnets. I'm never sure whether magnets will mess up aspects of my phone (like the compass for example) but my Pixel has had Google maps never pointing in the right direction again after using a case with magnets in it.
I have got myself Sony Smart Case with touch screen. Same colour with the device but looks very sturdy and covers well.
Sony Style Cover Touch SCTI30 works like a charm.
