Hello,
Having this Xperia Z for 2 months now without any problems.
Updated a few weeks ago to the .434 version, so it isn't the sudden death problem I think?
Last night I shut the phone down with 50% battery and didn't charge. Now it won't turn on anymore!
It's now charging for a few hours and still no sign of life.
Tried pressing vol up + power button, only powerbutton, removed microsd, checked if it showed up on my pc.
What to do?
Solved! Go to Solution.
Went to the T-mobile shop, they said I had to call the customer service because they have a "60-day return policy" for recent phones bought through the web or telephone. Only needed IMEI nr. wich is written on the bottom of the phone.
They will replace mine within 5 workdays with an "as good as new" replacement (probably one that has been returned within 7 days or something?).
+1 for T-mobile

Hi,
I forgot to charge my Z last night so the battery drained and the phone turned itself off.
I left it for a few hours because I didn't had a charger with me.
Back home I plugged it in the charger. The red light went on and Sony logo appears, and then it shuts down and repeats it.
Left it in the charger for a few hours and tried again. Still no succes.
I tried holding power and vol + while it was in the wall charger a few times and it keeps rebooting.
Also tried recovery via PC companion. The phone appears and recovery works, after the recovery finished I tried to turn it on but it still turns off at the Sony logo and reboots=(
Anybody got an idea??:smileycry:
As I said, i left it in the charger for a few hours. But it just won't charge.
it looks impossible to completely shut the phone down to load the battery, it just keeps turning itself on.
You have to take it back to Tmobile
Will go tommorrow, second time.....
Never drain your Xperia Z....
