Phone dies during re-start

When making a re-start (which actually is recommended by the phone itself), the phone turns off - it does NOT turn back ON again.

- Screen is black

- Charging does not start (even with original equipment)

- 'secret' start options (hold on/off button for 2 minutes, hold volume + on/off) do not result in any sign

-> What can I do?

Try another charger and cable first to see if it charges.

When you have set your device to let Google backup you might consider a software repair with Xperia companion.

On one page you see the option, my device cannot be recognised or is a smartwatch. (or something alike)

Tap that option.
