'No sound' problem

My speaker sound just is not working, no sound on phone call, music apps, facebook nothing until I reset my phone the sound is back on! It stays on for a few days then goes back off and I have to keep resetting my phone before making any calls I think this is a software but how to fix it without going back to factory settings, I have used my Bluetooth headset and it works fine but the problem remains after I disconnect my headphone device! Phone is an expira z5 compact

I have exactly the same problem .

Only started early March .

Seems like software .

I have lost all sounds from typing dialling and sound during a call.

What did you do to solve the problem, did if fix with an update or are you still having the same problem?

Try to use your phone in Safe Mode to see if the problem remains, if not, it is a third party app that is causing the problem.

If the problem remains the next solution is really performing a software repair with Xperia Companion.

yea same thing here no sound from speakers or headset , cant figure out whats causing it , happens totally randomly and all works fine after restart sometimes its fine for days.
