Hi,
My trusted Sony started a few days ago having a broad black vertical bar across the screen. There are a bunch of colourful lines inside the bar, and also some of those horizontally at the bottom of the screen. There is a very good video in Youtube giving advice of how to clean the contacts, including the TCON ribbons. However, these actions seemed not to help in my case. Might anyone in this community have a good guess, if replacing the TCON card might help? I.e. might the problems be caused by the TCON board having been partly broken. The screen is functioning otherwise normally, and the picture is ok, besides the black bar with its lines.
