apc_user: I think this probably has something to do with the fact that the Nexus is the "Google Phone" of this generation. My expectation is that in the future Motorola will be the "bleeding edge" platform for Android, given that Google spent billions of dollars buying their mobile phone division.
Agree on the multitasking front. There have been a few times where I have wanted to be able to just switch between apps without having to bring up the main menu and select the app.
I hope we don't get the "Virtual buttons in the System Bar" on the Mini phones - screen estate is limited enough as it is without having duplicate buttons (mimiking the hardware buttons we already have on the phone) appearing on the screen.
I can't help but wonder if the virtual buttons are a prelude to the removal of all hardware navigation buttons on Android devices...
most likely the buttons will be gone
