Email problem with Elm

Hi,

I am having issues with accessing the most recent emails through my Elm. I use Hotmail and I have no problems with the setup or anything but it downloads the oldest emails and as the inbox size limit is 1000 messages, it is useless. I have had my Hotmail address for many years and as a result have between 5000-6000 messages. How can I setup the email to enable me to receive the latest emails only?

Unfortunately the Hotmail client uses a POP server to access emails, which tends to download everything from the Inbox, unlike an IMAP server.However, what you can do, is go to your Hotmail account root server (on you PC) and move all your emails from the Inbox to the Drafts folder, so that these old messages are not continuously downloaded by your phone's email client.
