I have purchased a DVD player (Sony DVP SR760H) and have a problem playing xvid files. I can burn an xvid file to a DVD+ Rewritable disc and they play great. I can put the same file onto a USB stick and again no problems. When I burn the same file to a DVD- disc (not a rewritable one) the player says that it can't play it. Acording to the instruction manual, it can play DVD+ and DVD- discs.
Is there anyone out there that has a brain a bit bigger than mine, and have any suggestions as to why it will not play a DVD- disc?
