I have tried other iPods and they work fine, as does my iPod when I plug it into the 'Audio in' function (which obviously means I can't use the remote). The DAB radio works perfectly. I've bought the dock adapter, but even this hasn't worked. Is there something staggeringly obvious I haven't tried?
