So I was playing around with my a7r III and decided to test if silent shutter can somehow affect photos. After taking 15 photos of the same subject with 85mm lens on 1/50 of a second with silent shutter on and off results are:
Silent shutter off- half or more photos were slightly blurry but still usable
Silent shutter on- only 2 or 3 shots were very slightly blurry and rest is perfectly sharp.
I usually had to use at least 1/100 to be perfectly sure there is no blur but here 1/50 on 85mm is fine and safe. Can anyone else confirm this or is willing to test it out? If so we should make it an official tip, or maybe someone already discovered this?
