ITV channel 1 not available in ITV hub. KD55XH9505
Recently bought the Sony KD55XH9505 and finding that the itv hub loads easily as does BBC i player etc. Problem is that the ITV hub will give me all channels except ITV 1 (Which happens to be the channel most sought by my other half for Coronation St catchup). Tried carrying out a fix which other users have used, having experienced the same issue on different Sony tv models, but cannot find an app on this tv 'YVservicehostAPK' where clearing the cache then clearing data could possibly produce a solution. Anyone else having this problem or does anyone have a fix which could work on this set?

So sorry it has not worked for you. I am new to the community and have been asking the community a lot for help lately with my new TV, and for once I thought I could help someone else for a change! Never mind, good luck with the next round!

UPDATE:
Folowing a phone call to Sony customer care the issue has now been resolved. I was instructed to carry out a reset.
1. Soft reset by powering down the TV , removing power for 2 minutes. This did not work!
2. Full factory reset, erasing all inputted data. Account details, passwords, Picture and audio settings etc. This did the trick and I now have ITV hub with all channels available.
Thank you once again to the guys who attempted to offer a solution.
I hope this helps anyone else who may find themselves with this issue.

Keep us updated. This is strange as what seems to work for some doesn't work for others, and it's seemingly the same issue.

HI Rayw53,
Do carry out the full factory reset, which as I said in previous post errases all inputted settings. Once this had been carried out I didnt need to reload apps but simply start the chore of setting up access to each with passwords etc.
I have never interfered with Youview, (either removal or reloading) it remains accessible and I can if I wish access all catch up apps from here. I generally choose not to simply because I rarely use youview choosing instead to put my tv viewing through my DVD/ recorder so that I have facility to freeze live tv etc.
Good luck let us know if this fixes your issue.
