I am about to update one of our TV's and am pretty much decided on the 65A1. Will be pairing it with Sky Q and since the room is rather large, I would like to add some additional speakers.
They really need to be wireless and I am trying to decide between Sonos and the Bose Soundtouch range. My question is not on the merits of either of these, but how others with the A1 have addressed the soundbar issue? Since the screen sits on the cabinet (I will not be wall mounting), if I add a soundbar, it will obscure some of the picture at the bottom and look a little clunky.
I'm aware of the sound capabilities of the A1, so is it possible to just add an acoustimass300 (subwoofer) and virtually invisible 300 (rear speakers) without a soundtouch soundbar? Or does anyone have experience of using the Sonos Playbase underneath the A1?
None of my local retailers actually have the 65A1 as a demo, so it's really hard to know for certain how this would work. Any advice much appreciated.
