Android TV - WiFi and Ethernet Issues
Hi All
I have noticed that there are some people reporting issues with network connectivity.
Please reply back in this thread with your issue. Please also list your tv model and all relevent information.

If the issue happens again, use that checklist as reference of the information you need to provide to Sony to have them look into the problem and offer a solution.

Thank you for taking the time to try and help me. Fingers crossed but since the last factory reset when I raised my issue, the TV has behaved itself and the clock has kept to time.
If it happens again, I will run through the whole checklist.

I have an xr a90 and it’s hopeless it’s connected via Ethernet, no issues with any other kit .. this thing drops internet every 2 or three days … I’m sending it back it’s half a project

@Captain_paranoia, it sounds really frustrating! 😕 Have you tested the TV with different network other than your home WiFi network? Also what is the full model number of your TV?

Well, have a kd 75h8096, and have always preferred Ethernet, and , as property is wired ( cat6) thought no more about just plugging into Ethernet port 90/ 85…. Then spotted on YouTube about usb 3.0 adapters so tried one I had to hand( sun wire) as it happens and it worked great 950/900 ! Just tried two others as an experiment- manhattan - failed, startec failed but came with cd with driver on but no mention of chrome….
