I've been looking for a solution to this too! Now the app drawer background is white its very hard to quickly differentiate between the apps as a lot of them also have white colouring. In settings and "display" you can go to "advanced" and right at the bottom switch on "dark theme". That makes the app drawer background go black, yah!! But also make every other back ground go black. So when you pull the notifications drawer down from the top the backgrouds black which makes the notification very hard to read as their small and the text is now white on black!
Seems like a easy fix Sony!? Letting your selves down on the fundimentals😠
