Xperia 1 shaky 4kVideos and bad HDR in Photos

Hi there,

So i got my Xperia 1 yesterday and love the design but I am little dissapointed with the 4K Videos and Photo Quality.

So here are the Problems:

- 4K Videos are really shaking like there is no OIS/Eis and the HDR is all the time on. Maybe bc HDR is all the time on and the Video Stabilisation dosen´t work. The Videos come out pretty bad.

- Indoors Photos and bad lighting conditions are really challenging for the Xperia 1. When I am taking indoors or night photos with(or without) HDR on, the pictures come out too dark and there is no detail in the darker sections, like nothing. It´s really a disaster and a big disappointmend.

I relly like the Xperia 1 and I know that Sony can fix these Issues with a proper Software update. But for now, for 949Euros that I paid, it is not woth it. For this price it should be much better out of the box expirience.

Sony please fix this.

4k recording is a bit of a disaster I agree, it's incredibly jittery and looks like it stalls a lot. That's with HDR turned off.

I absolutely LOVE how natural the photos look coming from an s10+, they're just so much more realistic and how I actually want them too look. I do agree that the hdr needs a bit of work, shadows are very dark and highlights get blown out a little too much, but I definitely don't want sony going down the Samsung route and making them hidious.

Definitely 4K recording seems to not have any stabilization + many reviewers noticed some sudden screen tearing there.

I really like the day time Photos, they look incredible but the low light Photos or Photos with a dark section look really bad, there is no detail in darker areas, they are completely black. HDR obviously does not work like it should.

And the 4K Videos are total jittery like there is no stabilisation. What happened with OIS/EIS in 4K Videos?

Sony you need to fix this asap.

to stabilize in 4k you have to change to H265 o H264 , I read somewhere until they release the update

my device too, the stabilizer looks like doesn't work at all and another trouble is if you take a selfie in the backlight condition the result is dark yellow in the skin, please fix the camera software
