Sony
I love your phones and most of what you do, almost every product in my house has a Sony stamp on it.
I also run the NEW Sony Xperia FAN channel (please subscribe) on youtube.
However as a PRINCE 2 Project manager it drives me WILD with anger and frustration that you SNUB Sony users by not including a changelog with your firmware updates.
I mean as professionals, surely you would apply proper CHANGE CONTROL and notifications within your firmware?
I mean I was the 2x UK OVERCLOCKING champion and have designed award-winning motherboards for Universal ABIT (P30 PRO) and DFI LANPARTY X48 T2RS, P45 T2RSB+ X58 DK AND UT and the First gen P55 motherboard. DFI LANPARTY who had LESS capital than you and less backers. had a FULL CHANGE CONTROL process in place and we ALWAYS let our customers know what we changed in our BIOS UPDATES.
It lets users know what HAS been fixed, but more importantly it lets customers know what HAS caught your attention but is yet to be addressed!
Please please do the right thing and HELP us to HELP YOU!
How can you expect people to buy your products, when you wont inturn support us by adopting a BEST WORKING practice of being transparent with us?
If anyone agrees, can you please put I agree below here, hopefully that will get the higher ups attention.

Yeah, changelogs would be nice.
I remember in the times of "Concept" on the Z3 there actaully were changelogs.
Good old times.
Agree 1000000 %
It will be good to know, if its security update or fixes to current software
This has been asked forever, and Sony continue to ignore it. In fact, this approach seems to go across the whole of Sony products, not just mobile. With a daughter in Japan, I think that this may be a cultural issue. Sony feel that by issuing a changelog, they are admitting that they have produced a product that is less than 100%.
There is very little likelihood of changelogs, unless you can work out how to change the basic ethos and cultural approach to this from the top down in Sony
Then the Japanese had best take their OWN advice then.
Japanese execs HEED your own culture's proverbs:
Saru mo ki kara ochiru
Literally: Even monkees fall from trees
Meaning: Even an expert can make mistakes; also sometimes used as a warning that "pride comes before a fall"
Sony has first-class technology, economy-class customer support team, Do they really exist? Never saw Sony engineer reply here.
I agree!
