Tv switching off then back on.......................

My Sony Bravia 50WF663 LCD tv-purchased about 9 months ago-has recently starting acting up.When I`m watching a channel and I switch to another channel,the screen goes blank-as if the tv has been turned off-after a few seconds the Sony logo appears,it then goes back to the previous channel being watched...……….Anyone have any ideas ?

Yes-twice.....Alongside unplugging everything....Still acting up.

I have the Automatic Software Download set to do it by itself,it`s also telling me the software is up to date but...…..Where exactly does this download come from as I`ve noticed you can choose from USB or Network,does Network mean the internet as I don`t have an internet connection ??

Hi Mike2112,

What's the current software version installed on the TV? You can find this by pressing on Home, settings , customer support, system information.
