Please can someone tell me how long it takes Sony to push through a TV firmware/software update to your TV (TV connected to internet, auto-updates ON )

Hi Pascale,

Sony Bravia KD-55XD8599.

I checked the Sony website under the above model and it states that the latest update was 26 JUNE 2019 with firmware version v5.435.

I checked my firmware version and it states v5.433xxxx

It states on the website that the above version was rolled out within a few weeks. It is now over 4 months and my TV's software is set to AUTO-ON.

So, just wondering why it is/has taking so long?
