TV Stand compatibility

Hi,

Does anyone know if the TV stand / feet that came with my KDL43 (2016 version) Tv will fit the new 2019 models - unfortunately my kids broke our tv last week and I’m searching for a replacement. I want to keep with a newer version of my current TV, however the feet that are on the new version won’t fit on the shelf we have without an overhang.....any help would be greatly appreciated.

Hi @Bennisc

Why don’t you securely fix a plank of wood on the shelf to match the new stand depth and blend in with your existing shelf. Obviously only if it is 100% rock solid. Reducing the stand width (even if it did fit) sounds unsafe and possibly won’t match the new TV’s centre of gravity.

Thanks for the response, although that won’t work unfortunately. Looks like I’ll have to go with another brand which is a shame as I prefer the Sony.
