I'm experiencing a delay in sound output to an external system. TV speaker sound is synced with picture. Sound from Yamaha RX-V585 AV receiver is delayed giving a lip-sync issue both from the HDMI ARC and also identically from the optical output. I have run the TV optical output through another stereo DAC also with identical delay. The Yamaha has a lip-sync delay function but since the audio is already delayed this only makes it worse. I have tried all the settings I can find, including a factory reset of the TV.

Since 2 separate DACs give identical delay I conclude that the fault must be with the TV. Other inputs direct to the Yamaha play with perfect sync.

The Yamaha is feeding TV to the ARC HDMI, all other inputs to the Yamaha.

Anyone have any insight into what's going on or how to address this?
