Hi @david.hurst,

Welcome to the Sony Online Community!

There are no drivers necessary to connect a Windows PC to your Sony TV. This is as the digital HDMI connection between your graphics card and the TV handles automatically the supported resolutions through the EDID identifier. This means basically that any device supporting HDMI displays connected to your TV will natively be able to interrogate the TV for its supported screen resolutions.

If you provide more details on what is the resolution now and what resolution are you intending to achieve, perhaps we would be able to help. Note that the display settings on the Intel graphics control panel must list all supported resolutions. If you are having trouble setting the TV's native resolution in there, the suggestion would be to use a tool called DDU in order to uninstall your graphics drivers, then let Windows update them automatically to WHQL certified drivers.

Cheers,

Dutchice
