topic unwanted banner in Other TVs

I have the 43xe7073 bravia and when i change channel i get a banner accross the top of the screen showing the resolution and telling me the sound mode. is there any way to stop this. the odd time it doesnt happen but it mainly does.

Hi have checked manual and been through all settings cannot find a cure. think it may be something to do with the virgin v6 cable box. this is what im gettingtv picture.jpg
