Cannot get news channel on Freeview

Have 2 TV's in house both receiving signal vuia aerial.

Small TV displays BBC new against Freeview channel 231; Sony TV KDL-32EX65 shows subscription channel for Racing.com against channel 231. Retuning TV takes a very long time and does afford me opportunity to select/confirm transmitter which should be Sandy Heath.

As far as I know, my neighbours routinely receive the correct 231 channel. Have I got a software or hardware fault on the TV? Please advise. Regards ... Stephen Tiktin

Hi @sttikti,

It sounds like this is related to the recent Freeview TV Guide update, which resulted in some existing channels moving to new numbers. You can find more details of this here: http://sony-eur-eu-en-web--eur.custhelp.com/app/answers/detail/a_id/141557

In order to view certain digital terrestrial TV channels, you will need to retune your TV.
