Are updates for older tablets still available?

Hi!

I'm planning to buy an older tablet Xperia Z4. It's shipped with the Android Lollipop. I remember it was possible to update to Nougat at the time.

Do you know if I could still update it if I bought a refurbished model?

the latest updates for Z4 should show up as available when you turn on the unit and get past the set up section.

Even though there are no longer updates, the ones that have been released are still able to be installed as far as I know.

Yes, that's true

Once you setup the device, it will keep updating until it reaches the latest update for this model

And it's upgradable until Nougat version.
